    Was your father an artist? Are you a ‘junior’ or ‘Bill Volk the second”?

    I keep on my wall 4 pencil sketches I got from my father when he died (in 1966) of cowboy scenes done by Bill Volk, they’re good but I cannot find any reference to him.

    I’m afraid not. My dad’s a retired labor lawyer named Charles. I had a great-uncle Bill Volk, but he was not an artist as far as I know. I’ll ask my dad, but I probably would have heard of it by now.
